Pets

Pets, sometimes also called companions, can be summoned by applying their Measure Effect to the Bar. Once summoned, pets have their own Bar Indicator and act independent of the player. Pets cannot be damaged or die, however, they will disappear when their Measure Effect is overwritten or removed.

Players can summon four different pets using the corresponding Mods or Beat. However, while multiple summon measures can be on the Bar at once, only a single pet may be active at any given moment. The four pets are:

• Faye's Bird, summoned with the BEAM TEAM Mod, which randomly heals the player or attacks the enemy, for random amounts.
• Ians Fish, summoned with the A Tribute to Babby Mod, which focuses on healing and can revive fallen bandmates.
• Briff's Spider, summoned with the Weaver of Darkness Mod, which focuses on damage and can deal damage to multiple targets.
• the Cuttle, summoned with the Cuttlebuddy Beat, which either deals damage or Weakens the enemy bar.

Wearing the Chuckridge Cuttlebrander Patch up to doubles the healing or damage of pets and grants their Measure Effect an initial Shield modifier. The effect of this patch is global and applies to any pet summoned by any member of the band, even if the wearer is not active or even knocked out while the pet acts.
