Patches

Patches are pieces of equipment that grant your characters bonuses in combat. Each character starts out with only one patch slot, but can wear up to two patches once the Demonic Sewing Kit has been purchased from Evil Goods in Hoho.

The effects of patches usually also apply while the wearer is not active or even knocked out. Notably, this is true, but not limited to, the following patches: WELF, Levelle, DJ Beatseek, and Chuckridge Cuttlebrander.

	God Brain	Increases the wearer's Melody by 30% at the cost of Noise and Toughness (-10%).	Found in Tonewood Forest, in the area before Ian's house, in a chest on the path below Kassio
	Mega DEF	Increases the wearer's Toughness and Resistance by 30% at the cost of Hype regen and Speed (-20%).	Found in Heljen's apartment in Bopstead
	The Vroom Vrooms	Increases the wearer's Speed by 30% at the cost of every other stat (-5%).	Purchased from Band Goods in Bopstead
	2-STOKED	Increases the wearer's max Hype by 20% and gives them a chance to recover additional hype when striking foes. Works the same as Barry Club, with a 20% chance to trigger per hit in multi-hit attacks (both Mods and Beats), but limited to one trigger per action.	Purchased from Band Goods in Bopstead
	HELF	Increases the wearer's max Life by 20% and allows them to slowly regenerate life in combat.	Found in Tonewood Forest in a chest on a hidden path near the Great Arm
	Jen & the Regens	Attacks by the wearer will heal them for 20% of damage dealt.	Rewarded for finishing the Heljen's House Party Side Gig
	Levelle	Increases the band's experience gained after battle by 50%.	Purchased from Evil Goods in Hoho
	Power Wizard	Allows the wearer to regenerate Hype at the boosted backup rate at all times, even when leading.	Purchased from <o> in the Pop-Up Shop in Hellblivion
	WELF	Increases the band's money gained after battle by 50%.	Found on deck 14 of The Bus, right after the elevator
	Barry Club	Each time the wearer performs an action, there's a 20% chance they'll swig a Bountiful Barry's, healing the entire party for 33% their maximum health. Each hit in multi-hit attacks has a 20% to trigger the effect, but it may still only occur once per action.	Rewarded for finishing the Inspiring Nel Side Gig
	Kurtical Hit	The wearer's Beats now have a 33% chance to deal double damage/healing. For All and multi-hit beats, the 33% chance is rolled for each damage/healing instance individually.	Purchased from Band Goods in Bopstead
	Recently Hatched	The wearer's "REMIX" ability may now select beats equipped by anyone in the band.	Rewarded for finishing the The Beats of Legends Side Gig
	Rinna Rinna Triple Rinna	The wearer's "REMIX" ability may now select 3 beats to use at once.	Rewarded by Rinna in her home after showing off an impressive (28 or more) collection of Beats
	U WANT SUM	If active, the wearer will now counter enemy attacks with their equipped Beat at 75% effectiveness. Countering Beats can trigger other equipped patches like Barry Club, 2-STOKED, or Glamourella.	'Hidden' chest in Zone 4 of TillaTek CYBERJUNGLE.
	DJ Beatseek	Increases the band's chance of obtaining a beat drop from an enemy by an additional 3%.	Rewarded for finishing the Georgeous' Tattoo Ink Side Gig
	Major Droppage	Increases the band's chance of obtaining a beat drop from an enemy by an additional 6%.	Purchased from <o> in the Pop-Up Shop in Hellblivion
	Beauty in Suffering	Increases the wearer's damage dealt by 15% for each negative measure effect on the player's Bar. Final damage multiplier; additive to Surging Sorrow.	Rewarded for finishing the K-Touk's Boombox Side Gig
	Rainbow Sunshine Treehouse Band	The wearer takes 5% less damage for each positive measure effect on the player's bar	Purchased from Band Goods in Bopstead (New stuff arrived!)
	Chuckridge Cuttlebrander	Significantly increases the power of any active pets. See Pets for more details.	Rewarded for finishing the Cuttlebrother Side Gig
	Freebees	Merch used by the wearer now has a 33% chance to refund the stock cost.	Purchased from Band Goods in Bopstead
	Delayer	Any Noise damage dealt by the wearer will now knock back the target enemy's bar position by nearly half a measure. Triggers on all enemies hit and can trigger multiple times per action from multi-hit attacks. Enemies build up knockback resistance if hit by consecutive actions that trigger Delayer. Resistance resets whenever the enemy takes an action. The number of hits within an action does not affect resistance build up.	Chest in the secret area entered from The Wet Beak in Claire's Hair
	Glamourella	Gives the wearer a chance to summon a lightning storm when striking foes, dealing moderate Melody damage to all enemies. Chance is 20% per hit. Can proc multiple times per action from attacks that hit TWICE or THRICE. Severity multiplier is 0.67, i.e. it suffers from ALL penalty.	Chest on the Skydeck of The Bus
	The NOW NOW NOWs	Increases the wearer's Speed gained from Haste Measure Effects by 100%. Also increases Speed cap to 125 while on Haste. Always grants 80% bonus Speed while on Haste, even if it is Empowered.	Found in the Bass Basement
	Pokalyps	Increases the amount of Glam generated by the wearer's skills by 50%.	Rewarded for finishing the Crowdkillerkiller Side Gig
	Savant	Applies the standard half-off hype discount to ALL mods equipped by the wearer, regardless of class matching.	Treasure right before the final area of ?????.
